What is a gizka? Wookiepedia entry
Why gizka? Gizka are cute and cuddly. Your average child, be that child human or extra-terrestrial, would love to have a gizka plush toy to play with. Gizka are shy, meek creatures with an empathic bond to most sentients in the galaxy. Therefore, they respond to loving words and kindness but shy away from loud noises and strong negative emotions. Killing a gizka, according to Star Wars canon, can lead one down the path to the Dark Side of the Force. So: love your gizka!
